My name is Harrison and I am 19 year old college student and an avid gamer. I created this blog to share my opinions on video games and the such. Please take everything I say with a grain of salt since I tend to not know what I'm talking about.

Darksiders II
I have been playing Darksiders II for awhile, since the day it came out to precises. I was a huge fan of the original Darksiders when it originally came out in 2010. I was surprised at how fun the game was and it in my opinion was the most under appreciated game of 2010. Seeing on how much I liked it Darksiders II became my most anticipated game of the Summer of 2012. I am still not sure how I completely stand on it. The game has placed somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth due to a couple of bugs. For example I have had to restart my PS3 several times due to the game freezing, and the frame rate really dipped at moments during my play through. Frame rate is something that can ruin the flow of any game and could make an amazing moment into a somewhat frustrating moment. I also find the story a little convoluted and the games seem to be expecting the players to just nod their head agreeing that the story is having an apprehensible flow. On the bright side the combat is a real blast and the loot system is a well welcomed addition to the gameplay. One key feature of the game that stood out to me was the game's soundtrack, its phenomenal, ranging from dark melodic overtures while you wander the Land of the Dead, to electronic inspired tunes while you explore a dungeon. It really stood out to me, seeing how so many other game's soundtrack are there just as background noise. The game has taken me awhile to finish for one main reason, I tend to like completing all the majority of side quest before completing the final sequence of a game. I nearing the end of the game and once I wrap up Death's story I can decided where I stand. I plan on giving my final impression whenever that may happen.
